All About Me

Hello!  I'm Sarah Mangini, a fourth grade teacher.  I’ve been teaching at BES since 2001.  Before that I worked as a geologist for an environmental consulting company, cleaning up contaminated sites around the United States.  I grew up on the coast of Maine, and I love to return there to go boating with my family.  I studied geology at Tufts University, and later, education at Boston University.  I live in Monkton with my husband and our three kids.  When I’m not teaching, I enjoy hiking, listening to music and gardening.  Right now I’m learning how to play the drums.
